After early bird movie at legend cinema (In TK Avenue), it
was lunch time. I and my friend didn’t feel like getting food in TK Avenue, so
we drove to find new epic place to eat. Then, we have found “the coffee bean
and tea leaf’’ which in its soft opening period.
The restaurant’s outside decoration looking good, so we
decide to get in. (oh well, its look familiar too, when I found out later that
the restaurant was appeared in Thai movie “I’m fine, thank you, I love”.)
We have ordered a teriyaki chicken sandwich (which serve
with house salad), a spicy tuna spaghetti, and a house salad for food, and a
pure vanilla and a pure caramel ice blend for drink.
The service quite good, and the stuff were friendly. However,
we waited about an hour to get our spaghetti, and they said they put the dish
on the wrong table, I wonder since it was prepaid. Yet, I can understand because
it was still in their soft opening period.
The food taste was depend. The teriyaki chicken sandwich was
quite good, the bread was soft and great smell, the chicken and sauce was delicious,
the whole sandwich was not too dry or watering, and it was perfect to serve
with house salad. The salad created fresh and juicy taste. Yes, we also ordered
a plate of house salad, I would like to say that the salad tasted so…so delicious.
The green was fresh and a bit crispy, the sour and sweet sauce say it not allow
you to stop eating eat, and the grand berry, cherry tomato, almond all play it
role of sweetness, sour, and fragrant, and all mixed well together. However,
the spicy tuna spaghetti that we got an hour later, was not really good as it
is in the picture. It was greasy and stop us from continue eating it (maybe we
full with sandwich and salad, who know), and it was too spicy as well. Too spicy
for me!!

Last but not least, for the drink, both pure vanilla and caramel ice
blend were not for us, and maybe we are not suit with the pure things, haha,
just kidding!! The smell was too cheesy and the taste was too milky for us. It would
better if added some coffee flavor, and yes, it’s much better because I went
there again and get an original mocha ice blend.
I am not a coffee lover, but their original mocha ice blend is
not too bitter and tasted quite good.
And… I went there again!

This time I get a spicy tuna sandwich and it tasted good,
better than the spaghetti, of course.The sandwich was a bit dry but while it was also serve with house salad, the juice from salad help and
yes, since the salad was good, the whole lunch was enjoyable. Oh wait, my drink
was fresh water, and I can tell you that it’s the best to have when you have
lunch. It give you a fresh and light feel. Its lunch not tea or coffee break
though.

All and all, I recommend this restaurant to everyone. If you
go, never forget to order their house salad and you will know the fresh things I
talking about. ^^
